Gutter Protection Redefined – Like You’ve Never Seen Before
We manufacture the exclusive design with unique louver openings on the face of the system rather than the openings being flat on top of the system. The reason is that when the leaves fall, they do not pile up and block the holes, which results in affecting the way the water gets into the gutter. The water follows the louvers into the gutter and sheds the debris off of the gutter. The distinct louvers were designed in New Jersey Pine Barrens. They were designed so that any small debris that may fit into one of the openings with the water is small enough to flush out of the downspout. The downspouts can’t clog.
GutterGard™ is slid up under the first course of shingles, acting as a large drip edge, protecting the sheathing of the roof and eliminating the chance of water going in between the gutter and fascia. It is a home protection system protecting not only the roof but the windows, doors, landscaping, stucco, and foundation. GutterGard™ does not screw, nail, or attach to the roof and will not void a roof warranty. The product can be installed on existing or new gutters and can be installed against any type of roof coming in different colors to match the homeowner’s roof as best as possible. Have you heard of a filter that didn’t need to be cleaned? The majority of the other gutter protection products are screens or filters that lay flat in the gutter, allowing the leaves and debris to fall on top of the screen or filter and block the holes. When the holes get blocked, so does the water from entering the gutter, causing overflow, clogs, and additional maintenance. Debris laying flat on top will not only affect how the water enters the gutter but will also hold weight and moisture right at the most vulnerable spot on the roof. These products often create more problems than they solve.
The Rest
Another style you’ll encounter is referred to as a leaf guards or helmets. These systems feature long horizontal openings on their face. However, these openings allow thin debris (both large and small) to slide into the gutter. Over time, smaller debris accumulates and clogs these openings, blocking the water from entering the gutter and shooting off the roof instead. How Many Different Gutter Guards Are Out There?
Aside from GutterGard™, there are only two other types of gutter guards available. There are screens/filters that lay flat in the gutter. There are helmets/leaf guards that have a long horizontal opening.
Do The Other Gutter Guards Have To Be Cleaned?
Have you ever heard of any filter that doesn’t need to be cleaned or changed? Both systems still need to be removed and cleaned on a regular basis and, if not maintained properly, will cause a variety of problems. Downspouts will also need to be cleaned since the debris will still make its way into both screens/filters & helmets/leaf guards.

I can not express enough my love for these gutters. I am not able to get up to my roof any more, so i wanted a gutter system that i didn’t have to clean or unclog. This system is the only one I found that works. Ths one should be your choice. In 2023 I had the gutters on my home and garage updated with guards. At the time I could not decide between Guter Guys/ Gutter Guards, and Leaf FIiter. I decided to install Gutter Guards on my two-story garage, and Leaf FIiter on my three-story home. One year latter a tree fell on the garage, and I had to replace the roof and gutters. I was happy to call the Gutter Guys. In fact, I was so satisfied with their product that I had them replace the Leaf Filter gutters on my home as well. Leaf FIiter guards were terrible. The third story guard was so clogged that the water came spewing off the roof and cascading into my second floor balcony. It was causing pools of water to collect on the floor while the garage Gutter Guards were performing as promised. Gutter Guards funneled all the water, from some pretty big storms and one hurricane, into the gutters and out to the street. In my opinion, GutterGuard is the superior product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GUTTER GUYS / GUTTER GUARD TO PROTECT ANY ROOFING NEEDS. Gutter Guys were courteous, efficient, on time, and they picked up all the fallen screws each time they came out.
